Today starts another week of P90X. I am getting over a cold so I hope I won't be too weak in my workout. I had a good breakfast (good as in healthy, not good as in tasty). It was a spinach-raspberry-soy milk-protein powder smoothie. Not the most tasty, but very healthy. It's easy for me to eat a healthy breakfast because I'm not that hungry in the morning and mainly eat to fuel the bod. It's the rest of the day where my eating habits rapidly deteriorate.
My weigh-in is in 2 days and my goal weight is 295 lbs. Considering I weighed 296.4 lbs. last week, I hope to eclipse 295 and be at 294 or 293 even. We'll see . . . . .

Week 1
On January 24, 2011, I started a project. This project is intended to be a transformation which, if completed, will result in my new physical body. Yes, this is a weight loss journey. However, my intentions in this project are not solely personal. I have a young son that deserves to have an active, healthy father. I have a wonderful wife that deserves to have an energetic, hard-working husband.
Also, this blog will serve more as a journal than anything else. I do not wrtie it with the intention of having others viewing it, but others can if they wish.
My plan for this project is basically eating healthfully and exercising. For exercise, I will be doing P90X four times and doing Insanity once over the last 9 weeks of Project 62 (I started P90X on January 24). As for what I eat, I have greatly increased my fruit and vegetable intake while greatly decreasing my dairy and meat intake. I am striving to get the bulk of my calories from fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, and true whole grains. I still love meat, and I will have a crappy meal here and there, but I won't beat myself up about it and I will keep working hard every single day.
